‘Highs & Lows’ presents the directors’ shared experiences of an existential crisis through the conversations of characters in an inconvenient and awkward drug deal. The story is an interaction between friends, Happy and Sad, buying weed from their dealer, Sise. However, Sise’s grandmother has just died and Happy and Sad are unwillingly brought in to Sise’s experience. We follow that conversation as it intersects the schools of Existentialism, Phenomenology and Absurdism in an accessible medium.

‘Highs & Lows’ speaks to the human need to rely on each other in all facets of life from simple transactions through to how we navigate the experience of existence.
